Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Reception Services in Alpharetta, GA. You will welcome visitors, manage access control, and maintain a professional lobby environment to deter incidents and support daily operations.

The position offers $20.00 per hour with a schedule including Daytime and overnight shifts. A minimum of 1 year security experience and a high school diploma are required, with background checks and a drug screen as standard pre-employment steps.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Manage the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and appointment information, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor logs.
• Monitor access to the location, screen incoming guests and deliveries according to site procedures, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Answer and route calls, provide directions and general information, and communicate observations or concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
