Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Three Rivers, MI. You will monitor and protect a manufacturing and industrial site, delivering courteous service while upholding site policies and safety procedures.

As an unarmed officer, you will conduct patrols, control access, report anomalies, and respond calmly to incidents, helping deter theft and ensuring a secure, welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, parking areas, loading docks, offices, and the facility perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established channels.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and property damage through visible patrols, observation, and timely reporting.
