Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a dispatcher for Emergency Medical Services at the Fargo facility. The role covers 12-hour night shifts, full-time schedule, with every-other-weekend work.

Responsibilities include answering calls, dispatching officers, monitoring alarms and cameras, and coordinating with hospitals for EMS transport. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• EMS principles, practices, and techniques or relevant dispatch experience helpful but not required.
• Emergency Medical Dispatch certification or AED-EMD should be acquired within six months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Answering phone calls.
• Helping callers with problems or questions with security and safety questions.
• Dispatching Officers to calls for service.
• Monitoring cameras for safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff.
• Monitoring and answering alarms within Sanford Health and other buildings.
• Contacting outside agencies to respond to alarms.
