Harvard Protection Services, LLC is seeking a Security Officer to support our security and life safety services in the Boston area. Officers provide concierge-style customer service, maintain a visible presence, and monitor environments to detect risks.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, patrolling designated areas, handling alarms, and preparing incident reports while following emergency procedures. The role emphasizes reliability, communication, and professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal communication and neat, professional appearance.
• Previous contract security, law enforcement, military or customer service experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer-focused security and life safety services for people and property.
• Concierge services and maintain a professional demeanor for customers, employees, visitors and guests.
• Maintain a visible presence in the assigned facility/building and monitor the environment for suspicious activity.
• Greet customers, visitors, staff and guests professionally and answer phones.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances/exits; enforce policies as applicable.
• Perform required patrols by foot or vehicle and monitor alarms and systems.
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents and suspicious activities.
