Job summary

SACRED HEART VILLAGE I INC is seeking an Overnight Security/Door Person to serve as the face of the building, providing excellent customer service to tenants and visitors while ensuring safety. The ideal candidate will be professional, courteous, and genuinely concerned for the elderly residents’ well-being.

Responsibilities include monitoring entrances, handling emergencies with calm professionalism, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Equivalen t work experience is a plus.
Willingness to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Ability to show compassion and empathy while upholding building rules.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor foot traffic in and out of the building.
Maintain a calm demeanor when assessing emergencies and take appropriate action.
Respond to emergencies reported by residents.
Make emergency calls to first responders when necessary.
Ensure guests and residents follow building policies and procedures.
Monitor security cameras and answer phones, greet tenants and visitors.
Maintain a log of significant events during the shift.
Assist residents with package deliveries and groceries per policies.
Perform other duties to support the mission of respecting residents.
