Job summary

Theballantyne is seeking a Room Service Server for the third shift in Charlotte, NC. You will deliver exceptional in-room dining experiences, taking orders, coordinating with the kitchen, and ensuring timely, accurate service.

Responsibilities include guest interaction, proper presentation, sanitation, and teamwork. Prior food service experience and strong communication are valued for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.

Responsibilities

• Take and process orders from guests via phone or in-person.
• Input orders into the POS system and relay to kitchen staff.
• Deliver orders to guestrooms in a timely manner.
• Present orders professionally and ensure proper presentation and temperature.
• Set up guest room tables as needed.
• Interact with guests courteously and address needs promptly.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service.
• Resolve guest issues and complaints promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace; follow sanitation guidelines.
• Stock supplies and participate in team meetings and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
