Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a registered nurse to join our Vascular Access team in Worcester, MA for 24 hours per week on the night shift. You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, with emphasis on vascular access procedures and coordination with the care team.

This on-site role offers a sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. A Massachusetts nursing license, BLS, ACLS as applicable, and BSN are preferred and required qualifications.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification is required for all RNs.
• ACLS certification required if not currently held.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment per procedures.
• Develops the plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care.
• Documents patient care and education plans; ensures quality of care.
