Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an RN for direct patient care in a hospital setting in Worcester, MA. You will deliver nursing care using the nursing process from admission to discharge and coordinate care plans with the health team.

The role requires Massachusetts nursing licensure and BLS; ACLS is preferred. Sign-on bonus may be available and the work schedule includes mixed shifts and holidays.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process for delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge, appropriate to patient population.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual care plans including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned clinical setting.
• Administers medications and assists with procedures and tests as required.
