Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA seeks a Registered Nurse for 3 West, Cardiac Vascular, evenings. This part-time role covers 24 hours weekly with 8-hour evening shifts (1500–2330).

The RN will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, perform assessments, and contribute to discharge planning within established standards. MA licensure and BLS are required; ACLS and BSN are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is required; ACLS or unit-specific certifications may be required.
• BSN highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process for delivery and management of patient care.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment per standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care in the unit.
• Delegates appropriately to others in line with competencies.
