Job summary

Empath Health in southwest Florida is seeking an RN PRN to join our hospice team. The shift is 8:00 pm to 8:30 am, with a minimum of 64 hours per month, and the role includes coverage at Village on the Isle, Venice, Port Charlotte and Arcadia.

You will identify patient and family needs, provide preventive and supportive care, supervise LPNs or aides in the GIP environment, and float as needed. Join a mission-driven network delivering Full Life Care, with benefits including comprehensive health

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license.
• Experience in hospice, palliative, or inpatient care preferred.
• Ability to float to different hospice houses.
• Willingness to work night shifts and maintain 64 hours/month.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and supportive care to terminally ill patients.
• Coordinate patient and family needs with the care team.
• Oversee LPNs and aides in the GIP environment.
• Report to Care Coordinator / Care Center Manager.
• Float as needed.
