Job summary

Empath Health is seeking an RN PRN to join our Hospice House team in Port Charlotte. You will provide bedside nursing, assess needs, coordinate patient and family care, and support comfort and quality of life for terminally ill patients across the care unit.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent bedside nursing experience.
• Active Florida RN license.
• Valid Florida driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Identify and coordinate patient/family needs and provide preventive and supportive care.
• Use assessment, intervention, and teaching to maximize comfort in the hospice setting.
• Provide oversight of LPN/aide for patient care and float as needed.
