Job summary

Kindred Hospital Riverside in Perris, CA, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in a 40-bed LTAC setting. You will plan, implement, and evaluate care using the nursing process and collaborate with physicians, families, and the care team.

Responsibilities include administering medications, developing and updating care plans, and participating in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions. Licensure, BLS, and preferred ACLS; prior M/S experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary certificate, diploma, or program graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN license in the state of practice, required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS preferred.
• Six months Medical/Surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (Assess, Plan, Implement, Evaluate).
• Develop and update nursing care plans with patient and family.
• Administer medications following the five rights and document accordingly.
• Communicate patient status changes to physicians and nursing leadership.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient education.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff as appropriate.
