Kindred Hospital Riverside in Perris, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care within a long-term acute care setting. You will plan and deliver care using the nursing process, collaborate with physicians and the care team, and participate in discharge planning.

Strong clinical judgment and teamwork are essential. Responsibilities include supervising care, documenting in the medical record, administering medications, and educating patients and families.

Qualifikationen

• Postsecondary certificate, diploma, or program graduation from an accredited school of nursing (Required).
• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Preferred).
• RN licensure in state of practice (Required upon hire).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required upon hire).
• ACLS (Preferred upon hire).
• Six months of Medical/Surgical nursing experience (Preferred).

Aufgaben

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation).
• Develop and coordinate nursing care plans with patient, family, and multidisciplinary staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and nursing leadership.
• Participate in discharge planning and coordination of care.
• Direct, supervise, and evaluate nursing care; assign tasks based on patient needs and staff capabilities.
• Document admissions, assessments, and care plans in the medical record.
• Administer medications using the five rights to reduce errors.
• Provide patient/family education and support; collaborate with other departments as needed.
