Job summary

Banner University Medical Center Tucson in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Outpatient Observation Unit on the Night shift. You will admit, transfer and discharge patients, perform assessments and coordinate care with the PCU Academy, contributing to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license with BLS certification; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered as part of Banner Health's commitment to nursing

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in observation/PCU or acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan care.
• Admit, transfer and discharge patients on the unit.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team and document appropriately.
