Qualifications

• RN license required and Florida licensure eligibility
• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred
• 1+ year acute care hospital experience preferred
• Fluent in English (read, written, verbal)
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and evaluate them regularly.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocol.
• Educate patients and families to promote understanding and adherence to care plans.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure effective care and communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and interventions.
• Assess and improve care plan effectiveness to achieve positive outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are met.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Supervise care provided by healthcare team and delegate as needed.
• Engage in professional development and performance improvement activities.
• Respond promptly to code situations to stabilize patients.
