AdventHealth is seeking an experienced RN for a PRN night shift at our Palm Coast, Florida facility. The role emphasizes critical thinking, comprehensive patient assessments, and care plan implementation to optimize outcomes in alignment with interdisciplinary goals.

The position requires active RN licensure in Florida, an Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), and at least 2 years of acute-care experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Active RN license (Florida) required.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical thinking skills appropriate to patient’s level of care.
• Collects and documents patient health data systematically and timely.
• Conducts ongoing assessments and develops individualized plans of care to optimize outcomes.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff to maintain a positive environment.
• Educates patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
