Job summary

Fairview Health Services is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Birthplace at Northland Medical Center in Princeton, MN. The role is a 0.6 FTE with 12-hour night shifts, every third weekend, and holiday rotation.

The RN will assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for Labor and Delivery and Post-Partum patients, in accordance with policy, procedures, and MN Nurse Practice Act. Collaboration with the care team is essential.

Qualifications

• MN Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
• 1 year of Labor and Delivery expereince as an RN

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and identifies expected nursing outcomes.
• Develops an individualized nursing plan of care.
• Collaborates with patient, family, and health team members to implement the plan of care.
• Documents and updates the plan of care for continuity of care.
• Evaluates care and patient response to interventions and outcomes.
