Zusammenfassung

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver inpatient oncology care on the Night shift at Mount Auburn Hospital. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and ensure safe chemotherapy administration while supporting patient education and outcomes.

Responsibilities include central line care, adverse event monitoring, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient throughput and care quality within a Magnet-designated environment.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred, may require BSN within 4 years.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; candidates with an associate degree must complete a BSN within 4 years.
• 1 year of recent RN experience preferred; oncology/hematology experience in inpatient or infusion setting preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records (Epic) preferred.

Aufgaben

• Deliver direct oncology nursing care with comprehensive assessments and care planning.
• Administer chemotherapy and supportive therapies per protocols; monitor for adverse events.
• Manage central venous access devices and perform blood draws and transfusions.
• Provide patient and family education on diagnosis, treatment, and discharge instructions.
