Job summary

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA is seeking an RN to deliver inpatient oncology care as part of a new clinical collaboration with Mount Auburn Hospital. The position involves comprehensive assessments, care planning, and safe administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive therapies.

Responsibilities include documentation in Epic, symptom management, patient and family education, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN license required.
• Oncology/hematology experience preferred.
• BSN strongly preferred; BSN within 4 years if ADN.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct inpatient oncology nursing care with comprehensive assessment and care planning.
• Administer chemotherapy/immunotherapy per protocols; monitor for adverse events.
• Manage central venous access devices and blood products per policy.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, and discharge.
• Document care in Epic and maintain accurate medications records.
• Participate in quality, safety, infection prevention, and research activities.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, social workers, and other staff; may serve as charge nurse or preceptor.
