AdventHealth Ocala in Florida is seeking an RN Nurse Manager to lead nursing operations on night shifts. You will oversee patient care units, coordinate staffing, and respond to emergencies while upholding quality and compassionate care.

The role requires an RN license in Florida, 2+ years of leadership, and strong communication, critical thinking, and collaboration with hospital leadership to ensure safe, efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• RN licensed and registered in Florida (Required).
• BLS certification required.
• 2+ years leadership experience in nursing.
• Strong communication and collaboration with hospital leadership.

Responsibilities

• Rounds and assesses patient care units to evaluate patient conditions and staffing needs.
• Advises and directs nursing personnel, responds to Code Blue situations, and manages clinical emergencies.
• Promotes cost-effective management of staffing, equipment, and supplies; acts as liaison for patient movement and bed assignments.
• Represents nursing administration during off-shifts and serves as incident commander for disasters.
• Provides direction and collaborates with hospital leadership during significant events and system downtimes.
• Fosters exceptional patient experiences through compassionate communication and relationships with patients, visitors, staff, and leadership.
• Directs nursing supervisors, monitors performance, education, and work hours; collaborates with departments.
