The position requires an RN license, BLS, and ACLS within 90 days. BSN/ MSN preferred; EHR experience preferred; nights schedule with multiple shifts per week is typical.

Qualifications

• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.
• ACLS required upon hire date and does not expire within 90 days of hire date.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• One year RN experience within the last five years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and patient/family education.
• Lead nursing practice within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model.
• Provide leadership through preceptor roles and quality improvement efforts.
• Delegate patient care according to skill level, acuity and resources.
