Job summary

Wilson Health is seeking a part-time Family Birth Center Registered Nurse in Sidney, Ohio (North Dayton area). The role supports labor and delivery care during obstetric emergencies, with supervision by the Family Birth Center Nurse Manager. 3rd shift, 24 hours per week.

The position requires Ohio RN licensure, neonatal certifications (NRP, BLS, ACLS, STABLE), and NCC EFM certification within specified timelines, along with a strong L&D background.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Ohio.
• Current NRP, BLS, or Neonatal Resuscitation Certification within 3–6 months of date of hire.
• ACLS during orientation. STABLE (neonatal continuing education) within one year of hire.
• Minimum 18 months labor and delivery experience. NCC EFM certification required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physician, family, team members, and other hospital departments to develop and implement a comprehensive care plan for each patient.
• Participate in patient/family education, evaluate and modify the care plan based on patient responses and goals.
• Demonstrate clinical competence in antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, intra-operative care for C-sections, instrumental deliveries, and neonatal nursing using the Nursing Process.
