Job summary

AdventHealth in Burleson, TX is seeking an ED Holds Registered Nurse to deliver high-acuity, continuous nursing care for patients boarding in the emergency department. You will manage treatments, administer medications, monitor trajectories, and coordinate with inpatient units to ensure safe transitions from the ED to the hospital floor.

Requirements include PCU experience, RN licensure, BLS, and strong clinical judgment.

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure and critical care experience.
• PCU/CCU exposure preferred.
• Strong assessment, planning and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-acuity nursing care for admitted ED patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor responses.
• Coordinate with inpatient units and case management for safe transitions.
