Texas Health Huguley is seeking an experienced PCU RN for an ED Hold StaffFlex contract. The role requires 2+ years of acute PCU nursing and day shift coverage (7a–7p) for a 13-week assignment. You will perform thorough assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure and BLS certification.
• 2+ years of acute hospital nursing experience.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in PCU/ED Hold setting.
• Assess and document patient health data and update plans of care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with care team to coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
