Job summary

Vibra Healthcare, LLC. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for full-time night shifts in a hospital setting. You will operate respiratory care equipment, administer prescribed therapies, and monitor patient responses to treatments.

Under supervision, you will manage ventilators, perform trach care, document care in charts, and uphold safety and compliance while participating in departmental meetings and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice by the state of employment as a Respiratory Practitioner.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required upon hire; ACLS within 90 days of employment.
• Must maintain licenses and certification for the duration of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides care for Adult or Geriatric patients (18+) with respiratory needs.
• Explain purpose and procedure of treatments and document education given.
• Set up, operate and monitor ventilators; participate in ventilator weaning per physician direction.
• Perform trach care and change trach tubes per policy; document changes.
• Record treatment data and patient responses in charts; update MARs.
• Maintain and clean respiratory therapy equipment; ensure CIDEX OPA test is current.

Education

Licensed Respiratory Practitioner

BLS certification

ACLS certification within 90 days
