Vibra Healthcare, LLC. in Odessa, TX is seeking a Full-Time Nights Respiratory Therapist responsible for operating diverse respiratory care equipment, ventilator management, and patient support.

You will document patient responses, educate patients and caregivers, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure optimal respiratory care. The role requires active state Licensure as a Respiratory Practitioner, BLS on hire, and ACLS within 90 days; ongoing certification maintenance is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice as a Respiratory Practitioner in the state of employment.
• BLS required at hire; ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• Must maintain licenses and certifications for the duration of employment.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment.
• Manage ventilators when patient cannot breathe adequately and participate in ventilator weaning.
• Record all treatments and patient responses in charts and MARs.
• Provide trach care per hospital policy and document changes accordingly.
• Operate and monitor chest physiotherapy and oxygen delivery devices.
• Perform blood gas analysis and maintain competency with blood gas devices.
