Job summary

Aurora Bay Area Medical Center Marinette is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to support patient assessment and therapy in multiple care settings. You will operate ventilators, assist physicians, and educate patients on therapy goals and self-care.

Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with an associate degree. RCP license or NBRC credentials are required within timelines; BLS for Healthcare Providers is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program, with a minimum of an associate degree.
• No experience required.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner license or NBRC credentials within required timeframe; BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Must meet site-specific education/certification requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients using pulmonary diagnostics, chest radiographs, hemodynamics, and blood gas/Lab values.
• Operate specialized ventilators in critical and non-critical care venues.
• Assist physicians with bedside procedures and administer prescribed respiratory therapies.
• Educate patients on therapy purpose, self-care, and disease management.
