The role requires graduation from an accredited respiratory care program (associate degree), and licensure as an RCP with BLS certification. No prior experience is required, and there are additional bonus potential opportunities under the clinical ladder.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with an associate degree.
• Active RCP license in the practicing state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsibilities

• Use respiratory therapy processes to assess patients and support department services.
• Operate ventilators and assist physicians with bedside procedures.
• Provide prescribed medication treatments and therapies.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment for safety and reliability.
• Educate patients on therapy purpose, technique, and self-care.
