Qualifications

• RCP license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Use respiratory therapy processes to assess patients and correlate blood gases and electrolytes.
• Operate ventilators in critical and non-critical care venues; assist physicians.
• Provide prescribed medication treatments and therapies.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; arrange service as needed.
• Educate patients on therapy purpose, technique, and self-care.
• Collaborate with departments to educate on patient management.
• Adhere to policies and maintain safety; deliver clear patient handoffs.
