Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program and licensed in Texas.
• BLS and ACLS certifications current; NRP/PALS required within 12 months.
• At least 6 months of respiratory care experience; NICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutics including oxygen therapy, humidity, suctioning, and ventilation support.
• Conduct arterial blood gas analysis, pulse oximetry, PFTs, and ECGs as prescribed.
• Prepare bedside assessments and review medical records to evaluate treatment.
• Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and respiratory equipment.
• Maintain infection control, safety, and quality assurance in the department.
