Job summary

Mountain View Hospital in Payson, UT is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our night shift team. You will provide diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care across emergency, ICU and acute settings, using advanced respiratory technology and collaborating with physicians and nurses.

You will deliver evidence-based therapy, manage ventilation and airways, educate patients and families, and help stabilize newborns when needed.

Qualifications

• NBRC-RRT or state credential required or equivalent
• ACLS/BCLS within specified timelines
• PALS and Neonatal Resuscitation within 1 year
• Associate or higher degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine need for interventions.
• Deliver oxygen, aerosolized meds, airway clearance and other therapies.
• Manage artificial airways and invasive/noninvasive ventilation.
• Educate patients and families; act as clinical resource with care team.
• Maintain equipment and follow infection-prevention standards.

Skills

RRT Certification

ACLS within 30 days

BCLS within 30 days

PALS within 1 year

Neonatal Resuscitation within 1 year

Education

NBRC-RRT or state credential

Associate or Bachelor degree in Respiratory Therapy
