Intermountain Health Orem Community Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a part-time role in Utah. The position provides advanced care under physician orders and serves as a resource to CRT staff.

Responsibilities include diagnostic testing, medication administration, patient and family education, and thorough documentation. 24 hours per week with night shifts 6:00pm–6:30am; NICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NBRC approved Respiratory Therapist program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) per NBRC.
• Current license as Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice.

Responsabilités

• Performs, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic testing procedures per protocol; obtains arterial gases.
• Administers medications safely and evaluates patient response and progress.
• Maintains awareness of patient condition and educates patients and families.
• Documents accurately; monitors supplies and equipment; reports low stock.
• Participates in quality and safety initiatives and department meetings.
• May float to other departments as needed and be on-call when required.
