Haywood Regional Medical Center - A Duke LifePoint Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for night shifts in Clyde, NC. The role highlights a $7,500 sign-on bonus with a two-year commitment and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will perform assessments, deliver therapy, and support patient care in a joint team environment. Applicants should be a graduate of a respiratory therapy program and be registered in NC.

Qualificações

• Graduate from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy and NC registration.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Measures lung capacity and analyzes blood gases per protocol.
• Delivers and assesses response to prescribed therapy and monitors patient condition.
• Evaluates respiratory care policies based on outcomes and best practices.
• Responds to codes and provides emergent respiratory care.
• Educates patients and families about illness and resources.
• Manages supplies, gases, and stock levels for respiratory care.
• Cleans, sterilizes, and maintains equipment; calibrates machines.
