Job summary

HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center in Phoenix is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join the CV Respiratory Therapy team on the night shift. You will set up and operate respiratory care equipment, perform ABGs, and manage ventilators to provide high-quality patient care.

This role requires BLS; ACLS preferred and NBRC credentials are advantageous. Flexibility to cover weekends/holidays is expected in this PRN position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 2-year AMA approved Respiratory Care program.
• Graduate of a 4-year Bachelor level AMA approved Respiratory Care program (preferred).
• 6 months experience for Network float position required.
• 1 year clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and administer respiratory care equipment.
• Perform arterial blood gas analysis, co-oximetry, and other pulmonary function testing.
• Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators and adjust as ordered.
• Assist with resuscitations and traumas as assigned.
• Document all treatments and patient responses in the chart.
