Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Respiratory Therapist in Phoenix to set up, operate, and manage respiratory care equipment across general floor and critical care areas. You will evaluate therapeutic objectives, transcribe orders, and maintain ventilator support with attention to airway patency and humidification.

You will perform arterial punctures, blood gas analyses, and related tests, documenting results promptly. PRN night shifts in a high‑quality patient care environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 2 year AMA approved Respiratory Care program.
• Graduate of a 4 year Bachelor level or AMA approved Respiratory Care program.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and administers respiratory care equipment and procedures.
• Evaluates therapeutic objectives and transcribes verbal orders.
• Operates and monitors mechanical ventilators; assists with life threatening events.
• Maintains artificial airway patency and appropriate humidification.
• Performs arterial puncture and blood gas analysis; documents results.
• Documents treatments and patient responses in medical record.
