Phoenix Specialty Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide cardiopulmonary services to adult and geriatric patients in Mesa, AZ. Under the Director of Respiratory, you will manage ventilation, airway care, oxygen therapy, and related procedures in accordance with state and national standards.

The role requires current AZ RCP license, NBRC RRT, BLS and ACLS, acute care or LTAC experience preferred, and strong communication and teamwork to collaborate with physicians,

Qualifications

• Graduate of a respiratory care program accredited by the CoARC.
• Acute care or long-term acute care experience, including ventilator management, preferred.
• Licenses/certificates: AZ Respiratory Care Practitioner license; NBRC credential as an RRT; BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients on admission and document progress.
• Develops and updates respiratory plan of care for adult and geriatric patients.
• Administers medications and records as ordered per policy.
• Provides bronchial hygiene therapy and oxygen therapy as ordered.
• Manages invasive and non-invasive ventilation and monitors alarms.
