Job summary

Mercy Medical Center, Inc. seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist for the night shift to provide comprehensive respiratory care across all age groups. You will assess, implement therapies, and manage ventilator support in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires AMA-approved therapy training, state licensure, and relevant certifications, with preference for ICU/NICU experience. Opportunities for growth and patient-centered care are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Graduate of AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program.
• One year experience preferred, new graduates are acceptable.
• ICU and NICU experience preferred.
• CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) credential.
• Maryland Board of Respiratory Care license.
• BLS for Health Care Provider preferred, NBRC certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment, treatment, and diagnostic respiratory services for neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Administer therapies and manage ventilator support per protocols and department policies.
• Initiate and maintain respiratory equipment and respond promptly in clinical situations.
