Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the Night shift at Shea Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ. The role requires ICU experience and will involve setting up and managing ventilators, performing arterial blood gases, and providing advanced respiratory care to adult, pediatric and neonatal patients.

The position emphasizes thorough documentation, patient education and collaboration with physicians and nursing staff. A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is available.

Qualifications

• Two-year AMA-approved associate degree in Respiratory Care.
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care or AMA-approved program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor respiratory care equipment and procedures.
• Perform arterial blood gases, co-oximetry, ECGs and basic pulmonary function testing.
• Assist with transportation of ventilated patients and perform routine treatments including CPAP/BiPAP, aerosol therapies and oxygen delivery.
• Document therapies, ventilator settings and patient responses in medical records.
