You will assess patients, calibrate ventilators, monitor oxygen therapy, perform rounds, and document care in the electronic medical record, with emphasis on patient safety and protocol-driven practice.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• RRT or CRT with transition within 1 year of hire.
• CPR/NRP within 90 days of orientation.
• IL/WI Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• Background check required.

Aufgaben

• Perform routine therapies to treat cardiopulmonary status.
• Initiate, monitor, and wean invasive/non-invasive ventilation.
• Assess treatment needs and adjust therapy per physician orders.
• Document care in EMR and departmental records.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot ventilators and related devices.
• Respond to emergent care and assist with resuscitation per guidelines.
• Transport patients on ventilators as needed.
• Provide developmentally appropriate patient care.
