Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for night shift coverage across Mishawaka and Plymouth facilities. The role involves delivering respiratory therapies, managing ventilator support, and ensuring patient safety on a demanding 12-hour night schedule (1830-0700 Mishawaka, 1900-0730 Plymouth), with weekend coverage as needed.

The ideal candidate holds Indiana licensure, NBRC RRT, AMA-accredited training, and has ICU/NICU or open-heart care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Indiana.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the NBRC.
• Experience in Critical Care, NICU, Open Heart Recovery, and Bronchoscopy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory therapy designed to stabilize, prevent or remedy patient respiratory problems, operating oxygen and therapeutic gas devices and monitoring therapy in patient records.
