Job summary

New Ways Services - ABI Division in Massachusetts seeks a Residential Support Specialist to help create a safe, supportive home for individuals with acquired brain injuries. You will promote growth, independence, and community engagement, upholding MHA's values of Respect, Integrity, and Compassion.

Pay ranges from $19 to $21 per hour for evening shifts (Thu, Fri, Sat, 11pm-9am, 30 hours). You will assist with personal care, routines, meals, finances, and transportation while documenting

Qualifications

Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to adapt to evolving participant needs.
Ability to provide personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
Willingness to obtain MAP, CPR, and First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

Communicate respectfully to promote self-esteem and independence.
Assist with personal care, routines, meals, and finances/transportation support.
Facilitate access to community resources and teach self-advocacy.
Complete documentation, track progress, and report incidents promptly.
Maintain scheduling flexibility, attend team meetings and trainings.
Collaborate with the team to support program goals.
