Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Acts as initial contact for patients presenting to Bay Area Hospital and performs registration functions.
• Verifies insurance coverage, discusses financial arrangements and collects payments from patients.
• Obtains consent signatures and ensures required information is documented in the registration system.
• Communicates with ED staff and other departments to coordinate patient flow and care.
