Qualifications

• Previous hospital admissions experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Customer Services experience required.
• High School Graduate or GED Equivalent Required (effective 4/1/14 for all new hires)

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to collect demographics and insurance details.
• Verify eligibility, benefits and authorizations as applicable.
• Coordinate with Admitting, PBX and reception areas.
• Input and retrieve data using a computer; communicate with patients across ages.
