Job summary

Northpoint Recovery is seeking a part-time Recovery Technician for the Meridian, ID location. The role supports patient safety and care within a multidisciplinary team, working Sunday nights from 6pm to 6:30am.

Responsibilities include observing patients, documenting care, and assisting with transport and activities to reinforce treatment plans. The position emphasizes adherence to policies, strong boundaries with patients, and collaboration with clinical and medical staff to ensure quality care

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Ability to follow policies and procedures.
• Strong boundaries and rapport with patients.
• Knowledge of the surrounding geographic area.

Responsibilities

• Interact routinely with patients, observe behaviors, and communicate significant observations to clinical staff.
• Follow reporting and communication guidelines when interacting with staff and patients.
• Timely completion and accuracy of paperwork, including daily logs and forms.
• Maintain daily schedules and structure, especially around transport, meals, and transitions outside normal programming hours.
• Provide patient observation rounds and monitor activities and behaviors during shift.
• Facilitate recreational outings and activities with patients; encourage pro-social and coping skills.
• Ensure patient wellbeing and maintain a positive, structured environment; respond to patient needs to improve outcomes.
• Assist in orientation of new admissions.
• Document information regarding client care and behavior as required.
• Maintain confidentiality per policies and standards.
