Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for night shifts in Wisconsin. The role requires ARRT radiography certification and CT credential within two years of hire.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of hospital radiography experience and strong teamwork in a multimodality department. Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, positioning patients, ensuring aseptic technique, and providing patient education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• Two to four years of experience as a Radiographer is required.
• Experience in a hospital environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains active status in the modalities in which they practice.
• Assists the department coordinator by providing clinical leadership, completes projects, advanced level clinical duties and regular assignments as requested.
• Is competent in all exams performed within the assigned modalities.
• Corroborates patient clinical history with procedure, ensuring information is documented and available for use by the radiologist.
• Prepares the patient for procedures, providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety.
