Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures, assist radiologists, and ensure patient safety and comfort in a busy hospital setting.

This PRN position requires graduation from an accredited radiography program, ARRT Radiography registration, and CT credential within two years, with 2–4 years of experience preferred. The role emphasizes teamwork, patient education, and quality care across multiple modalities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• Two to four years of experience as a Radiographer; hospital setting preferred.
• ARRT registration in Radiography; CT credential required within two years.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment and select appropriate devices to perform procedures.
• Prepare patients, obtain histories, and minimize anxiety during imaging.
• Ensure patient safety, universal protocol, and aseptic techniques.
• Corroborate clinical history with procedures and document results for radiologists.
• Provide guidance and input for supply/equipment decisions; mentor students.
