Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• 2-4 years of experience as a radiographer; hospital environment preferred.
• ARRT registered in Radiography; CT credential within 2 years of hire.
• WI-DSPS radiographer license required in Wisconsin; IEMA-DNS for Illinois.
• BLS/CPR within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains active status in practiced modalities and provides clinical leadership.
• Corroborates patient history with procedures and documents for radiologist use.
• Prepares patient, positions and immobilizes as needed for imaging.
• Operates imaging equipment, performs procedures, and ensures safety.
• Provides patient education and assists with contrast administration.
• Maintains inventory and supplies for the assigned area.
• Mentors students and partners; observes universal protocol and patient identifiers.
• Works independently with limited supervision.
