Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures across modalities while delivering safe, compassionate patient care. The role includes clinical leadership, program support, and training of students and staff.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiography program, ARRT radiography certification, and CT credential within two years. Illinois or Wisconsin licensure and BLS/CPR within 90 days are required. Hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• Two to four years of experience as a Radiographer; hospital experience preferred.
• ARRT credential in Radiography required; the CT credential within two years of hire.
• IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required if working in Illinois.
• WI-DSPS radiographer license required if working in Wisconsin.
• BLS/CPR required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains active status in the modalities in which they practice.
• Provides clinical leadership and supports department projects.
• Performs advanced imaging procedures with safety and compassion.
• Corroborates patient history with procedures for radiologist use.
• Prepares patients and equipment to obtain optimal results.
• Operates imaging equipment and positions patients for exams.
• Observes universal protocol and patient identifiers.
