Job summary

The Valley Hospital-Paramus is seeking an Imaging Technologist to prepare for radiologic procedures and produce diagnostic images. You will operate radiation equipment under physician orders, verify patient ID, select patients from the worklist, and ensure exams are archived on PACS and completed in RIS.

Preferred candidates have ARRT registration, NJ license, CPR certification, and the ability to work in OR and critical care areas, with a night shift (every other Saturday into Sunday).

Qualifications

• Completion from an accredited Radiology Technology program and ARRT registration.
• Registry eligible with obligation to obtain registry within 1 year of employment.
• NJ DEP license and current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for radiologic procedures and produce diagnostic images.
• Operate radiation producing equipment following physician orders.
• Verify patient identification and select patient from worklist.
• Archive exams on PACS and ensure proper RIS completion.
• Maintain imaging facilities and stay current with protocols and equipment.
