Job summary

The Valley Hospital-Paramus is seeking a CT Technologist to operate the CT scanner, assist patients, and ensure exams are archived in PACS and completed in RIS. Responsibilities include timely processing, verification of patient identity, and maintaining equipment and work areas.

Required ARRT CT certification with NJ license, CPR/BLS, and excellent communication. Experience preferred but not mandatory, with a focus on accurate and efficient CT imaging.

Qualifications

• Completion from an accredited Radiology Technology program and ARRT CT registration.
• Existing employees must obtain advanced CT Certification within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner and prepare scans per physician orders.
• Assist patients onto scanner and verify identification.
• Select patient from worklist and ensure exam is archived in PACS and completed in RIS.
• Maintain orderly facilities and stay current with CT procedures.
